Alkagesta says it has carried out its first marine fuel delivery by truck directly to a vessel in Constanța, Romania, supplying 50.164 metric tonnes of marine gasoil on 2 October 2026. The company reported that two trucks handled the delivery, adding a truck-to-vessel service to its distribution capabilities in the Romanian market.

In its announcement, Alkagesta presented the operation as part of an expansion of its fuel distribution activities across Romania and the Black Sea region. It said Romania had become increasingly important to its regional petroleum products and biofuels business during 2026. The milestone described in the report concerns the company’s first use of this delivery method in Constanța, rather than its first activity in the Romanian energy market.

The company also linked the delivery to developments elsewhere in its European energy business. Earlier in 2026, it gained access to the NATO Central Europe Pipeline System and began supplying Jet A1 to the European aviation market. According to Alkagesta, those deliveries started amid acute aviation fuel supply pressure, while greater military use of the pipeline complicated civilian distribution. It also reported completing its first crude oil trades during the period, including an end-to-end delivery of approximately 1.07 million barrels to the Far East.

In biofuels, Alkagesta said it had agreed multi-year storage arrangements at Pantank in Antwerp and a five-year offtake agreement for used cooking oil feedstock. The company described those agreements as strengthening its participation in Europe’s biofuels supply chain, alongside the petroleum products activities highlighted in the Constanța announcement.

Outside Europe, Alkagesta reported that its Singapore hub achieved monthly marine fuel trading volumes of approximately 250,000 metric tonnes during its first full year of operation. It also said its fertiliser desk was operating amid substantial supply-chain disruption and food-security pressures affecting global agricultural markets. These activities formed the wider commercial backdrop the company cited for its Romanian delivery milestone.
